Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other finishing materials to interior surfaces, transforming raw structures into polished, durable finishes. Must have good knowledge own transport and tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal plaster adhesion
- Mix plaster, mortar, or other finishing compounds using hand tools and power tools to achieve the correct consistency
- Apply plaster or stucco smoothly and evenly onto walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with trowels and hawks
- Operate power tools such as drills, mixers, and saws safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Inspect completed work for quality standards, ensuring smooth surfaces free of cracks or imperfections
Experience
- Proven experience as a plasterer or in a similar masonry or finishing role within the construction industry
- Strong proficiency with hand tools including trowels, floats, and spatulas
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various working condition
- Solid understanding of plastering.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines
