Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team and drive the successful execution of electrical installation CHP projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of combined heat and power systems across various sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, technical specifications, and project timelines. Duties
- Lead the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and control systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work efficiently and safely
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed electrical components to verify quality and compliance with project standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance before handover
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, test results, and compliance records for project tracking
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation phases and implement effective solutions swiftly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical installation or related roles within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and technical drawings
- Demonstrated electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting on-site challenges
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory
