We Are Recruiting: Data and Insights Analyst
Location: Hybrid – 60% Edge Lane offices 40% remote
Salary: £37,144.89 - £40,144.45 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
We’re looking for a Data and Insights Analyst to take ownership of our data and systems, helping us unlock their full potential and support our mission through smarter, evidence-based decision-making.
The purpose of this role is to capture data from numerous systems, clean it, store it in logical models and build reporting infrastructure to be utilised by the whole charity to support better outcomes. The role will also have administrative ownership over several key systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Governance: Oversee organisational data to ensure it is accurate, secure, compliant, and accessible.
- Reporting & Insight: Produce dashboards, reports, and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- System Ownership: Act as the lead for core business systems, ensuring they are effective, up to date, and meet business needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement data-led or system-based improvements and automation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across teams and with external providers to optimise data use and system performance.
- Technology & Innovation: Explore and introduce new tools, technologies, and ways of working to enhance organisational capability.
About You:
Essential:

Experience managing organisational data or business systems
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and DAX
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights
- Experience producing reports, dashboards, or performance analysis
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams
- Knowledge of data protection legislation and information governance
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, accessible way
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
Desirable:

Experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint
- Experience with SQL
- Background in process improvement and automation
- Experience working with external system providers
- Experience creating training or user guidance
- Experience in a complex or regulated environment (e.g. charity, healthcare, education)
