The Role
As our Senior Lettings Negotiator, you'll play a key role within the Lettings Team, supporting the day-to-day running of the department while helping drive performance and maintaining the exceptional service standards we're known for.
You'll work closely with landlords, tenants and applicants while supporting fellow negotiators and helping the team achieve its targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Registering new applicants and matching them with suitable properties.
- Conducting property viewings.
- Negotiating tenancy offers between landlords and tenants.
- Progressing tenancies using our tenancy management software.
- Acting as a key point of contact for landlords, tenants and colleagues.
- Leading and chairing the weekly Lettings Team meeting.
- Assisting with office performance and helping achieve business targets.
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience from enquiry through to move-in.
- Supporting the wider team with guidance, motivation and best practice.
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation, including the Renters' Rights Act.
What We're Looking For
This role is suited to someone who is already experienced in residential lettings and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within residential lettings.
- Excellent knowledge of the lettings process.
- Strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements, including the Renters' Rights Act.
- Knowledge of the Peterborough property market.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working in a fast-paced office.
- Positive, proactive and professional approach.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
