Job Summary
The Hotel Cromwell, located in the heart of Stevenage Old Town, is a busy hotel and popular dining destination. A major part of the hotel operation is our food and beverage offering, renowned for high quality, warm and friendly service.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bar Staff to join our team on a zero-hours basis. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy delivering excellent hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing outstanding service to guests.
What you will be doing:
You will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel bar, providing friendly and professional service to guests while ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. Duties will include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar area, and ensuring guests receive a welcoming and memorable experience.
You will also support food and beverage service during busy periods, functions, weddings, and events, working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
What you will bring to the team:
You will have previous experience working behind a bar within a hotel, restaurant, pub, or similar hospitality environment. You will be confident preparing and serving drinks, delivering excellent customer service, and working efficiently during busy service periods.
You will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of licensing regulations and responsible alcohol service would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
