Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently, following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
- Serve customers with a positive attitude, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation and serving areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods, ensuring timely service and order completion
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organizing supplies to keep the store well-stocked and inviting
- Upsell additional menu items or products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support team members in kitchen tasks such as basic cooking, food assembly, or prep work as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure safe handling of ingredients and prepared foods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, portioning, and inventory management
- Experience with food preparation, kitchen work, or culinary tasks is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills for engaging positively with customers and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
