Social Media & Shopify Marketing Assistant
Location: Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (WF13)
Hours: Part-time (15–30 hours per week) – flexible, with potential to become full-time

About Us
We are an established furniture showroom based in Dewsbury with a large retail space. We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Shopify Marketing Assistant to help grow our online presence, increase website sales, and showcase our furniture through engaging digital content.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing our social media channels and Shopify website while creating high-quality content that attracts customers and drives sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts
- Create engaging posts, Reels, and Stories
- Photograph and film furniture in our showroom
- Edit photos and videos using Canva, CapCut, or similar software
- Upload and maintain products on our Shopify website
- Write compelling product descriptions
- Organise collections, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Respond to customer enquiries on social media
- Assist with Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns and google ads and SEO
- Help improve website traffic and online sales
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience managing Shopify websites
- Experience creating engaging social media content
- Good photography and video editing skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
- Organised, creative, and able to work independently
- Interest in furniture, interiors, or home design is an advantage
