The Role
Cotswold Fridge Hire is looking for a motivated and reliable full-time Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing business, with significant opportunities for progression and increased responsibility.
The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of our refrigeration and temperature-control operations, including the installation, servicing and maintenance of cold rooms, air conditioning systems and temperature-control equipment.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves and is keen to develop their career with the company.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Installation and commissioning of cold rooms and refrigeration systems
- Installation and maintenance of air conditioning units
- Working with a range of temperature-control equipment
- Servicing, fault finding and repairs
- Assisting with new installations from start to finish
- Attending customer sites and providing a professional service
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Helping with the preparation and organisation of equipment and materials
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
- Communicating with customers and the wider Cotswold Fridge Hire team
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Motivated, hardworking and dependable
- Experienced in refrigeration and/or air conditioning
- Confident working independently as well as part of a team
- Able to diagnose problems and find practical solutions
- Well organised and able to manage their workload
- Professional when dealing with customers
- Keen to learn and take on additional responsibility
- Interested in building a long-term career within the company
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Relevant refrigeration, air conditioning and F-Gas qualifications would be highly desirable.

This isn't a role where we want someone to remain in the same position indefinitely.

Our aim is for the right person to eventually take greater responsibility for their own jobs, manage their own diary, organise installations and service visits, communicate directly with customers and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
