Role Overview
We are looking for copyeditors to support the development, refinement, and publication of high-quality content across print and digital channels. The successful candidate will ensure content is clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with publication standards while coordinating effectively with writers, designers, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Content Editing
- Refine content for clarity, readability, consistency, and accuracy.
- Improve grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and overall flow.
- Ensure content adheres to editorial and publication guidelines.
- Review and verify factual accuracy where applicable.
Publication Coordination
- Coordinate with writers, editors, designers, and production teams.
- Support publication schedules and editorial workflows.
- Track content revisions and approvals.
- Ensure projects are completed within established deadlines.
Audience & Content Development
- Develop and refine story ideas and content approaches.
- Ensure publications meet audience expectations and communication objectives.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and branding.
Production Support
- Assist in preparing content for print and digital publication.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure smooth publication processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Publishing, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience: 4-10 years
Required Skills
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities
- Excellent written English skills (CEFR C1 or higher)
- Attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of publication processes and editorial workflows
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
