Join the Team at Enhanced Healthcare – Agency Cook Required
We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Agency Cook to support in care home settings across the coast, preparing nutritious and high-quality meals for residents while maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.
Pay Rates:
- Midweek: from £19.05 per hour
- Saturday: £21.57 per hour
- Sunday: £22.41 per hour
Duties will include:
Preparing and serving meals for residents
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
Following dietary requirements and care home standards
Preparing meals in line with dysphagia and modified texture requirements where required
Managing stock and kitchen organisation
Working closely with the care home team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cooking experience within a care home, healthcare, catering or similar environment
- Understanding of dysphagia diets and texture modified meals
- Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Passionate about delivering quality meals and service
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to undertake one
Please note: DBS cost is £62.40, This will be refunded after completion of 250 hours worked.
