About Monico's
Monico's is a brand-new independent delicatessen, wine shop and café opening in Bramhall. Our vision is simple: a warm, genuinely inviting place, somewhere people come back not just for the food and wine, but because of how it feels to walk through the door. We're looking for people who love good food and drink, but just as importantly, people who are brilliant with customers and want to become part of the Monico's family, not just fill a shift. Full and part-time hours available, a great fit whether you want a couple of shifts a week or a full-time role.
What you'll be doing
- Serving customers across the shop: the deli counter, the till, and our coffee machine (we'll train you on all three, so no single station gets boring)
- Cutting and serving meats and cheese at the deli counter, and preparing sandwiches to order
- Making coffee once trained
- Taking orders and working the till
- Keeping the shop clean and well stocked throughout the day
- Support on wine tastings and private events
What we're looking for
- A friendly, confident manner with customers, this matters more to us than a long CV
- Experience in a café, deli, retail or hospitality role is a genuine plus and something we'd ideally like to see, though full training is given, so it's not essential
- Willing to complete pre-opening training: barista/coffee, food prep, and our concept and service standards
- Able to work some weekends, our busiest and most fun shifts
- Genuine interest in food and drink
- A passion for wine, or a WSET qualification, is very welcome but genuinely not required; this is a nice-to-have, not a condition of the job

- £13.25/hour, the same for everyone regardless of age, above the National Minimum Wage at any age band
