Shakib & Co Family Office is seeking an experienced Pool and Spa Service Engineer. In this senior appointment we are looking for a hardworking professional to join our small and trusted senior team.
The head office is based in Hampstead London NW3. The activities of this office includes residential and commercial property investment, healthcare operations, (Akessa Healthcare Group). The company was established in 1994 and has continued to grow at a steady and prudent manner. The name is a Trusted brand in high-end residential rental market in Hampstead and Marylebone area.
The activities of this role includes maintaining and servicing three residential spas in Hampstead NW3 and an hydrotherapy pool at Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, Aylesbury.
The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the head of the family in UK. The candidate will be expected to provide accurate reports. We are only interested in candidates who like stability and are looking for a long term position.
Successful candidate will have experience in the swimming pool trade and will be able to demonstrate an ability to work on their own initiative, as well as be part of a supportive team. Ideally, you will be qualified to ISPE Technician Standard and have an electrical qualification.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and comprehensive repairs on pools, spas, and related equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintenance of automatic swimming pool/spa water treatment systems
- Maintenance of swimming pool covers
- Experience of basic AHU fault finding and repair
- Pipework repairs and replacement
- Pump and filter replacement
- Making fault diagnostics and reporting back to your Line Manager
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; implement effective solutions promptly
- Lead service calls by guiding estate maintenance team when necessary, demonstrating leadership and mentorship
- Repair or replace pool pumps, filters, heaters, air conditioning units, and other mechanical components with precision
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot system malfunctions accurately
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed to ensure compliance and quality assurance
