** Background
City St Georges IT Department has an ambitious portfolio of IT enabled programmes and projects to deliver. To deliver this portfolio successfully, an IT Project Management (PMO) office has been established. This drives the formation and embedding of technology specific PMO processes, tools, and templates within the main project management framework and lifecycle and supports the wider institutional PMO needs.
The Head of IT PMO will develop and lead the IT PMO, enabling:
The introduction and embedding of appropriate tools and processes to support the delivery of IT-specific project management approaches and controls
The development of effective capacity and resource management practices covering, as a minimum, project management, business analysis and project support functions
Effective and appropriate project, programme and portfolio governance and reporting.
Monitor the status of projects, track deliverables and milestones and ensure adherence to the governance framework.
The establishment of a framework that builds in the need for specific IT processes including: testing, architecture and service design and transition processes within the overall project life cycle, as well as ensures alignment with technical design, architectural, information assurance and cyber security expectations and requirements
