We are seeking a dedicated and skilled wheel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for automotive care. As a Wheel Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wheels for various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Duties
- Remove and install tyres on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Balance wheels to ensure smooth operation and prevent vibrations during driving.
- Repair punctures and other tyre issues according to industry standards.
- Keep the work area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.Qualifications
- Previous experience as a tyre technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to tyre maintenance and repair.
