Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical project documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across various data systems. Duties
- Oversee the organisation, storage, and retrieval of project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Manage document workflows, including version control, approvals, and distribution across teams.
- Utilise data management tools such as Tableau, SQL, Oracle, and Informatica to monitor data integrity and facilitate reporting processes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure documentation complies with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support database design and maintenance for data warehouses, ensuring efficient data flow and storage solutions.
- Analyse large datasets using data analysis skills to identify trends or discrepancies that may impact project delivery.
- Lead efforts in implementing best practices for data management and documentation procedures across departments.
- Assist in the development of project management strategies related to document control processes.
- Provide training or guidance to team members on database systems, analysis tools, or documentation protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with data management systems such as Oracle, SQL, or Informatica.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data warehouse architecture.
- Proficiency in analytical tools including Tableau and Python for data analysis purposes.
- Knowledge of big data concepts and experience working with large datasets is desirable.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Leadership qualities to oversee document control processes within multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in a similar role involving data analysis or database administration is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills coupled with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
