Could you be our friendly face for B&B Hotels Manchester?
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Attendant to join our team, whilst we undergo full refurbishment of all our bedrooms Our hotel provides a fun and relaxed space with service that is welcoming and personal.
Key Responsibilities
· Reporting into the Housekeeping Supervisor
· For the period of the refurbishment, to ensure that the stripping and servicing of rooms prior and post refurbishment is carried out in a timely and high-quality standard
· Must be available to work Friday to Sunday
· Tasks will include stripping of rooms, ie; moving beds, mattresses and other items, to ensure that rooms are ready for each phase of refurbishment.
· Deep cleaning of rooms from handover of a bedroom phase, and must be to high-quality, guest-ready standard.
· Ensure that cleaning supplies, equipment, etc are used in a safe manner and as per training.
· Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and industry hygiene standards.
· Work closely with front desk and maintenance department to report room status, readiness, and repairs.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping environment.
· Strong understanding of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning products.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Guest-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
· Ability to handle physical demands including walking, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
· Essential to work Friday to Sunday, with varying shifts patterns.
· Shifts will go into the early evening.
