Overview
Lakeland Kitchens are a well established kitchen and bedroom supplier with stunning showrooms in both Kendal, Cumbria and Handforth in Cheshire.
We are seeking a dedicated, trustworthy and hardworking person with a helpful and friendly manner to join our team. The ideal candidate will need excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, some computer skills are necessary. Must have full UK driving license
Duties
- Loading and unloading of deliveries carefully to prevent damage
- Checking deliveries and making sure documents are signed and completed where necessary and any problems reported
- Moving heavy objects, this requires physical stamina using safe techniques to avoid injury
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tiday and safe
- Picking and preparing orders
- Stock control
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Liaise with colleagues in a positive and helpful manner
- Checking and making sure the vehicle is road worthy and in good repair
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse management preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management advantages
- Some basic joinery skills would be helpful

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
