Salary: £29,080.48 per annum
Working Hours
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Additional Requirements
- Two Saturdays per month (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) during Week 1 rota.
- Bank Holidays worked on a rotational basis, with additional leave provided in lieu.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Motor Claims Administrator to join our growing claims team.
This role is responsible for supporting the administration and progression of motor insurance claims from initial handling through to resolution. Working closely with internal colleagues and external partners, you will ensure claims are managed efficiently, accurately, and in line with service standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and progression of motor insurance claims.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to maximise claim conversion opportunities.
- Accurately input, update, and maintain claims information within internal systems.
- Monitor the progress of claims to ensure they are managed in accordance with internal procedures and service standards.
- Challenge and follow up with external partners where claims have not been progressed effectively.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on claim status.
- Work collaboratively to resolve issues and ensure claims are handled efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of motor insurance products, claims processes, legal procedures, and industry regulations.
- Ensure claims are managed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide administrative support, including correspondence, reporting, and data management.
- Produce reports on external partner performance for internal stakeholders.
- Support management in identifying coaching opportunities and process improvements where required.
- Identify operational risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement within the claims process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering excellent customer service.
