Gatley’s Country Store & Pet Shops are looking for a friendly and outgoing Full-Time Sales Assistant to join the team at our Horsham store.
Full training will be provided and any background or interest in pets/animal care, equestrian activities, or farming would be appreciated.
Duties
The role will include but is not limited to;
- General duties relating to serving customers in our store.
- Maintaining our high levels of customer service and care.
- Helping customers select the right products and offering advice.
- Tidying up the store/stock room and restocking and merchandising.
- Answering telephone enquiries.
- You will be required on a regular basis to unload deliveries into the store and also help load customer orders from our store to their vehicle – this requires heavy lifting.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Gatley’s are looking for someone to join on a full-time basis.
5 days a week, which would include one day at the weekend.
Immediate start.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
