Core responsibilities include:
· Safely operating forklift trucks and other equipment.
· Careful loading and unloading of high value parts and large components into vehicles and containers using forklift trucks.
· Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the stores and warehouse, using own initiative for maintaining a clean and tidy yard and warehouse.
· Manual handling of stock following company procedures and adhering to Health and Safety standards at all times.
· Manage the receipting of all incoming goods into the stores and warehouse.
· Movement of parts and components between sites and warehouses using company vehicles.
· Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, using own initiative for maintaining a clean and tidy yard and warehouse.
· Carry out any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the stores and warehouse department.
This role involves the movement and packing of components of a wide variety of sizes and weights, including large precision machine components.
The ideal Stores Team Member will :
· Have previous industrial warehouse experience
· Have Fork Lift Truck driving experience
· Have a full driving license
· Have Literacy, numeracy and IT skills
· Be reliable with excellent time-keeping.
· Be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced enviroment.
· Have great communication skills.
· Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Possess a fitness level required for manual handling.
