Join Müller and Play a Key Role in Our Powder Production Operation
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Control Room Operatives to join our Powder Plant team in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment where you'll be responsible for monitoring and controlling our powder production processes.
As a Control Room Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with colleagues across the operation to deliver excellent results while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitoring and operating PC-based production control systems
- Overseeing powder production processes from the control room
- Reviewing and interpreting production data
- Carrying out quality checks and spot inspections
- Identifying and resolving process issues quickly and effectively
- Performing basic machine maintenance and first-line fault finding
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team to ensure smooth operations
- Following all health, safety, quality, and food safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a food manufacturing or food processing environment (essential)
- Comfortable using computerised systems and interpreting production data
- Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements
- Good communication and listening skills
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic
- Commitment to health, safety, quality and hygiene standards
