What the role involves:
This is a varied, hands-on role split between the kitchen and the front of house, so you'll never be doing the same thing for too long.
In the kitchen:
- Prepping fresh ingredients and helping cook our menu each day
- Plating and serving food to a high, consistent standard
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
- Following food hygiene and safety standards
Front of house:
- Welcoming customers and taking orders at the till
- Making drinks, including our locally-sourced teas and coffee
- Serving food and clearing tables
- Being a friendly face for the cafe and helping create a great customer experience
What we're looking for:
- A friendly, relaxed, can-do attitude
- Someone happy to move between kitchen and customer-facing tasks
- A team player who takes pride in good food and good service
- Previous cafe/kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.00-£13.45 per hour
