Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of a large country house. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail and includes some food preparation
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all designated areas within the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised to high standards
- Change bed linens and organise laundry as required
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and fittings
- Shop for groceries as directed
- Food preparation and some cooking
- Assisting with special occasions/lunches if needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is highly desirable
- Cleaning experience is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a flexible schedule - occasional extra hours will be required.
- A professional attitude with excellent time management skills
- Reliable, discrete and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Driver with own vehicle due to rural location and requirement to run errands.
