Job Summary
At ChipsAway, we are the UK's largest minor car body repair specialists and also have our car care centre in Exeter for larger repairs and a base for our team.
Due to Expansion, we are currently recruiting for a mobile SMART repair technician based in Devon and surrounding areas. Looking for an immediate start.
As one of the team, you will be responsible for working independently, carrying out high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs at customer locations.
We will provide all uniform and equipment needed. Own tools E.g spray guns, sanders, socket sets etc would be preferable.
Previous experience required (minimum 3 years) would include ability to carry out:
- SMART repairs, small dent repairs, alloy wheel repairs trim repairs, headlight repairs, minor stripping & fitting, prepping, polishing, paint mixing etc.
- Managing your own workload and working efficiently on-site.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and van stock.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.
We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £15 - £22 per hour
Salary is open to discussion based on experience.

- 8am - 5pm standard working day
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday morning shifts if wanted
