A Small, Homely Nursery Where You Can Make a Real Difference
We’re working with a lovely, intimate Early Years setting that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join its close-knit team.
This is a smaller nursery with a genuinely warm, homely feel, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a more personal environment where you can really get to know the children, families and your colleagues.
The nursery operates between 8:00am and 5:00pm, offering more family-friendly opening hours than many Early Years settings.
The team is currently small and supportive, with an additional team member due to return in September. They are simply looking for the right person to strengthen the team and become a valued part of the setting.
About the Nursery
The nursery has a cosy, open-plan feel, with children across the different age groups sharing the main setting while babies benefit from their own separate area.
The setting currently cares for approximately:
- 6 babies
- 8 toddlers
- 12 preschool children
There is also a large, spacious garden, giving the children plenty of opportunity for outdoor play, exploration and learning.
Your Role
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play an important part in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing throughout the day.
You’ll work closely with the wider team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels happy, secure and encouraged to develop.
