Part-Time Pharmacy Delivery Driver
Location: Fallowfield, Manchester
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (Part-Time)
Shifts: Morning or Afternoon/Evening
Salary: Competitive
We're looking for friendly, reliable and conscientious delivery drivers to join our busy community pharmacy in Fallowfield.
We currently have two part-time vacancies available:
- Morning delivery driver – typically between 10:00am and 2:00pm
- Afternoon/Evening delivery driver – typically between 3:00pm and 7:00pm
The exact hours may vary slightly depending on the day's delivery workload.
A company van is provided for all deliveries.
The Role
As one of our Pharmacy Delivery Drivers, you'll play an important role in helping patients receive their medicines safely and on time.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering prescriptions and other pharmacy items to patients' homes
- Providing a friendly, professional and courteous service
- Planning and completing delivery routes efficiently
- Obtaining signatures where required
- Ensuring patient confidentiality at all times
- Carrying out basic vehicle safety checks and keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy
- Supporting the pharmacy team with general duties when required
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and approachable
- Reliable and punctual
- Well organised and able to work independently
- Calm, courteous and professional when dealing with patients
- Comfortable driving in and around Manchester
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- Confident and safe driver
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
- Right to work in the UK
