LBC Exterior Cleaning is an expanding exterior cleaning and pressure washing company based near South Mimms Hatfield. Our mission is simple: to improve local environments and build a team that serves every London borough.
About the Role
We are looking for a self-employed Driver / Cleaning Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on, active role where no two days are the same.
You will be:
- Travelling across London and surrounding areas to various job sites
- Operating specialist pressure washing and steam cleaning equipment
- Driving a company van fitted with professional cleaning machinery
- Carrying out a range of exterior cleaning services including:
- Building cleaning
- Roof and gutter cleaning
- Car park cleaning
- Graffiti removal
- Brick and render cleaning
- Commercial bin cleaning
Our clients include councils, housing associations, property management companies, and high-end residential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Arriving at our yard (AL9 7TS) or directly on-site as required
- Setting up safety signage and cones (safety is a top priority)
- Working in full PPE when needed
- Communicating with customers and team members
- Taking before and after photos of completed work
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment
- Using a smartphone for navigation and team communication
- Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Good English and communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident driving in London
- Based near Hatfield or surrounding areas
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with pressure washing equipment
- Mechanical knowledge (for basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles)
- Relevant certifications (IPAF, PASMA, Working at Height, CSCS, COSHH, etc.)
Working Hours & Benefits
- Typical hours: 7am start at yard or 8am on-site, finishing around 4pm
- Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work
