Natural UK is an innovative company committed to delivering sustainable waste management solutions through advanced waste heat treatment technology. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Waste Heat Treatment Machine Operator to join our growing team.
The Role
This is a full-time, lone-working position responsible for operating our innovative waste heat treatment machine. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Full on-site training will be provided, so previous experience with our equipment is not required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the waste heat treatment machine safely and efficiently.
- Carry out routine operational checks and basic maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, escalating where necessary.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Manage daily tasks independently while maintaining productivity.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently in a lone-working environment.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically under pressure.
- Be able to multitask and effectively prioritise workload.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Possess good communication and organisational skills.
- Have a strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are confident commercial vehicle drivers (3.5t or larger) with a clean drivers licence and who possess practical and mechanical experience.
What We Offer
- Full training provided on-site.
- Full-time, permanent opportunity – 3 shifts each week of 12 hours per shift, alternating week 1 days (06:00-18:00 week 2 nights (18:00-06:00) - £16.33 per hour
- Annual leave 4 weeks pro rata (Bank Holiday working will sometimes be necessary)
