Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and systems to minimise downtime and optimise operational efficiency. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, functional, and productive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled plans to ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimise operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on daily operations.
Skills
- Ability to diagnose faults accurately and implement effective repairs efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for documenting work and liaising with team members.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred for mobility across multiple sites
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
