Job Title: Stock Administrator
Location: Cleveland Cable Company
Hours: 38.75 hours per week
Holiday Entitlement: 22 days per annum (Plus UK public holidays)
Job Overview
Cleveland Cable Company is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Administrator to support the efficient management of inventory across our operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting warehouse processes, and ensuring timely availability of products to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records using internal systems
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages
- Process stock movements, including goods in, goods out, and transfers
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner
- Liaise with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth stock flow
- Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and trends
- Assist with the organisation and optimisation of storage locations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a stock control or administrative role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
