About the role:
Our client is a young, happy boy who lives at home with his family. He enjoys getting out and about, loves cuddles, stories and sensory toys such as lights. For this position, we're seeking an experienced nurse who is confident working with children who have complex care needs.
Clinical skills required:
- Able to complete 1:1 moving and handling
- Nebuliser Therapy
- Oxygen Therapy
- Chest Physio
- Seizure management
- Medication management
- PEG / PEJ management
- Oral Suctioning
- Ventilation management
- Interpret non-verbal cues
You will be a proactive and responsive care professional who is also willing to undertake additional tasks such as cleaning equipment and basic household duties when necessary.

What We’re Looking For
- At least 12 months of complex homecare nursing experience
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Valid NMC PIN number
- Demonstrable clinical skills in Enteral feeding, Seizure Management, Airway Management
- Comfortable with a dog living in the family home
- Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
- Good communication skills and IT confidence
- Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
- Hold an understanding of safeguarding
- Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
