Tarmac Surfacing Ganger
T Diggins Group are looking for an experienced Tarmac Surfacing Ganger to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled tarmac rake hand/roller operator with extensive experience in tarmac surfacing and a strong understanding of all aspects of asphalt works. Experience should include hand laying, machine laying, rolling, falls and levels, with a proven track record across roads, footpaths, car parks and general surfacing projects.
The role will involve leading and working alongside a surfacing gang to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
We work across The North West and overtime available for weekends/stay away.
Key requirements:
- Extensive experience in tarmac/asphalt surfacing
- Clean driving license
- Heavy Goods beneficial
- Highly skilled rake hand and roller operator
- Experience with both hand lay and machine lay
- Strong understanding of falls, levels and surface finishes
- Experience working on roads, footpaths and various surfacing projects
- Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong commitment to health, safety and quality
- Must hold relevant tickets
