The Role
We're looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. You'll be working across a variety of projects - from domestic rewires and lighting installations to commercial fit-outs and larger framework/contract works.
Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, testing, inspection and maintenance of electrical systems
- Work on domestic, commercial and industrial projects to current wiring regulations (BS 7671)
- Complete containment, first and second fix wiring, and final connections
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with NICEIC requirements
- Complete accurate paperwork including certification, test results and job sheets
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and other trades
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) / JIB Approved Electrician grade
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- CSCS/ECS card
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 and Part P
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients
