Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30)
Value Education are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in the Wigan area.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for education, supporting children with additional needs, and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.
Teaching Assistant Duties:

Assist the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead

Assist with group activities
-
Work with children on a 1:1 and group basis

Provide additional support to children with a range of SEN needs

Tailor lesson plans to individual needs

Work inside and outside the classroom

Work effectively under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
-
Support pupils with personal care needs when appropriate
Requirements:

Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff

Able to handle difficult situations and behaviour efficiently
-
Experience working with additional needs in a school setting (or similar)
