Job Description
B&B Skip Hire, part of Radical Waste Group, is looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to operate a Rear Compaction Vehicle (RCV / dust cart) collecting commercial waste from businesses across the local area.
This is a stable, long-term role within a growing waste and recycling company, working with a supportive transport and operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Rear Compaction Vehicle (RCV) safely and efficiently
- Carry out scheduled commercial waste collections from businesses
- Follow daily routes and transport schedules
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
- Ensure waste is transported in line with environmental regulations
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach with customers
- Comply with driver hours and tachograph regulations
Requirements
Essential
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Reliable and punctual
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and road regulations
Desirable
- Previous RCV / dust cart experience
- Experience in waste or recycling operations
- Good local area knowledge
Full training will be provided if required.
