Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Café Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant Bar/Restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising food preparation, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall smooth running of the café. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, along with supervisory expertise, is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and presentation
- Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist with food production tasks, supporting kitchen staff as required
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar/restaurant environment
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Lead by example to foster a positive team atmosphere centred on hospitality excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a café or restaurant setting
- Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team
- Experience in hospitality, including serving customers and managing service flow
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- A professional attitude combined with excellent communication skills

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
