Self-Employed Cleaning Operative – Supported Living
MBX Facilities is looking for a reliable and experienced self-employed cleaner for a regular supported living cleaning contract.
Pay: £16.80 per hour
Hours: 4 hours per week
Schedule: Monday and Thursday, 11:00am–1:00pm
Start date: Thursday 20 August 2026
Contract type: Self-employed / subcontractor
The role involves cleaning communal and shared areas within a supported living property.
Duties include:
* Vacuuming and mopping floors
* Cleaning bathrooms and WCs
* Dusting and wiping down surfaces
* Cleaning internal windows where required
* Cleaning communal/shared areas
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
Requirements:
* Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
* Current DBS certificate required
* Reliable and punctual
* Good attention to detail
* Professional and respectful when working in a supported living environment
* Able to work independently
* Must be available every Monday and Thursday from 11:00am–1:00pm
* Able to start Thursday 20 August 2026
There are 4 regular hours available every week, with the opportunity for additional cleaning work with MBX Facilities as further contracts become available with our clients.
As this is a self-employed subcontractor position, you will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance arrangements.
