Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Applying paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care
- Estimating materials and labour requirements for each project to ensure timely completion
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
- Ensuring all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organised throughout each project
- Assisting with colour consultations and providing advice on decorating options when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or similar roles
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the trade
- A professional attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
