We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Pharmacist Manager/Independent Prescriber to lead our pharmacy team and deliver exceptional patient care. Duties
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Prescribe medications independently within your scope of practice, providing tailored treatment plans for diverse patient needs
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, offering expert advice on medication use, potential side effects, and health management strategies
- Manage medication administration processes, including reviewing prescriptions and verifying dosages for accuracy and safety
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans and optimize medication therapies
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and clinical decisions to ensure transparency and accountability
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with current licensure and registration in good standing
- Proven experience in an ICU or critical care setting is highly desirable, demonstrating advanced clinical skills under pressure
- Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration techniques
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as an authorized prescriber while effectively collaborating with healthcare teams
- Prior experience in medication management systems and electronic health records is preferred
- Continuous professional development in pharmacy practice and clinical specialties is encouraged
