Cartonage Limited is a British company who design & manufacture cardboard folding cartons predominantly, but not exclusively, for the EU food industry. We are based in Drighlington, West Yorkshire.
We are looking for a Gluing operator who has a wealth of experienced in all areas of the set up & running of a folder/ gluing machine. and is wanting to take the next step to becoming the department Technical Lead
This role requires working shifts:
Monday - Thursday 14.00 - 22.30 Friday 14.00 to 20.00
Monday - Friday 6.00-14.00
Alternate weeks
Responsibilities and Duties.
- Work with a team of staff.
- Making ready jobs for gluing .
- Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained.
- Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC.
- Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks.
- Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager.
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years: Experience of gluing in previous role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated with a positive helpful attitude
- Reliable, and trustworthy
- Team player with ability to also work on own initiative
- Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety
