Access Your Care is a leading care provider in North Somerset, celebrating our 15th anniversary this year.
We are recruiting for a wellness advisor to join our phone based wellness team, working out of our head offices in Weston-super-Mare.
As a wellness advisor you will be responsible for making outbound phone calls to our service users, ensuring that all calls and reviews are completed each day.
Other responsibilities you will have could include:
- Carrying out regular reviews with wellness clients to ensure that they are progressing through the service and achieving positive outcomes.
- Undertaking welfare phone calls to clients requiring low level support.
- Manage the welcome and direction of visitors to the building.
- Work as part of the out of hour on call rota.
- Refer and signpost clients depending on their individual needs.
- Participate in local events to promote the wellness service.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings to represent the wellness service and provide an overview of outcomes and updates to the response, wellness and TEC manager.
- Depending on the needs of the business, there may be a requirement for you to provide care to clients including supporting with personal care.
This role is on a fixed 2 week rota including working from 10am-2pm every other weekend (both days) with a day off in the week. Working hours during the week will be 9am-5pm.
Previous experience and knowledge of social care is required for this role as you will be part of the on call rota. Access Your Care provides full training for everyone who joins our team. This includes:
- A weeklong paid classroom-based induction, giving you the knowledge you need for the role.
- An extensive shadowing period working with an experienced member of our wellness team.
- Ongoing support and yearly refresher training.
- Regular team meetings and updates.
- Fully funded qualifications up to level 5.

Financials:
- Base salary of £26,650.00
- Paid mileage for drivers paid at 45p per mile when travelling for work purposes
- Every six months you will get the proud to care bonus, paid to you for working for a North Somerset lead provider, worth up to £1,025.00 per year. You get this just for working for us.
- Receive a £1,000 joining bonus for joining us.
- Earn £250 for every employee referral you make, this is uncapped.
