Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Scaffolder to join our construction team. This role involves the assembly, dismantling, and safe utilisation of scaffolding structures on various building sites. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction practices and be committed to maintaining high safety standards throughout all operations. Duties
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components accurately
- Assist with site preparation, including groundwork and material handling as required
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, and masons to facilitate smooth workflow
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently during all phases of scaffolding work
- Maintain a clean working environment by organising materials and disposing of waste responsibly
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling on commercial or residential sites
- Knowledge of construction-related skills such as roofing, masonry, construction painting is advantageous
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring devices
- Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively for fabrication or assembly tasks
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans related to scaffold layouts
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations specific to working at height in the construction industry

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
