Hardscape Group Ltd are an employee-owned business who supply hard landscaping materials to commercial, public and private developments to create bespoke, innovative, and award-winning schemes across the UK are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Logistics Team at our Head Office in Egerton, Bolton.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for co oirdnating projects from the start through to completion, managing the movement of materials from both UK and international suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within agreed freight budgets.
This role involves working within a department of 5, working closely with suppliers, customers, freight providers and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery while maintaining excellent customer service and supporting the commercial objectives of the business.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and to be able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively and perfrom well in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from start to finish, serving as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets, timescales and customer requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to provide regular updates and effectively manage expectations throughout each project
- Co ordinate deliveries by arranging cost effective transport solutions to meet customer requirements with minimal delays
- Prioritise customer satusfaction by delivering a professional, responsive service that supports the company's reputation
- Negotiate competitive rates with hauliers and freight forwarders to ensure freight budgets are achieved whilst maintaining profitability
- Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems to ensure information is current, accessible and centralised
- Process despatch of materials promptly to trigger invoices to be raised in a timely manner, supporting monthly departmental targets
- Plan and forecast project requirements to support business planning, resource allocation and operational forecasting
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions to minimise disruption
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator or similar role
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing competing priorities
- Knowledge of transport planning, freight forwarding or lostics operations, including UK and international shipments is desirable
- Strong customer service experience
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particlarly Excel & Outlook.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience using ERP systems desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating logistics, transport, or supply chain activities is desirable.

Location: Bolton BL7
Job Type: Full-time. Monday - Friday.
Pay: From £28,000 p/a - Depending on experience
