Duties - job description
- Accompanying the driver on daily delivery rounds throughout our region.
Delivering food products to takeaways and restaurants.
Interacting with customers on a daily basis: provide a friendly, professional, and helpful service, building positive relationships with customers.
Assisting the driver in locating new customer addresses and delivery locations when required.
Assist with picking stock and loading onto vehicles for deliveries.
Help ensure vehicles are loaded in the correct delivery sequence.
Read and check delivery invoices to ensure the correct goods and quantities are delivered.
Unloading stock into customers' premises, following company procedures.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including round sheets, invoices, quantities, and prices.
Obtain customer signatures as Proof of Delivery (POD) for every delivery.
Working as part of a team: work closely with the warehouse to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively.
Follow all health and safety procedures while handling goods and carrying out deliveries.
Maintain a positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude at all times.
Additional information / Qualifications & Experience

- At a minimum NAT 5 in English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Must have reasonable Health & Safety awareness
