- Locations of work: Work at Birmingham’s biggest venues – Utilita Arena Birmingham, BP Pulse Live, and the NEC Halls.
- Every day is different: One day you will be building concerts from scratch, assisting in building stages, putting our flat floor seats. The next you might find yourself travelling with our crew across the country building temporary flooring for sports events such as basketball and badminton.
- Not your average job: This is hands-on dynamic work where you will help bring some of the UK’s largest events to life- as you are aware Live events don’t stop! And neither do our shifts, we offer a range from 4 to 12 hour shifts a day meaning you can pick dates and times that suit you!
- What we're looking for: we want team players to be physically fit and ready for action. We need you to be able to communicate well and work with the team and get the job done. This job role does require manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Start date: Flexible throughout September/ October, to align with the start of our season.
What You will Be Doing: As part of our practical team you will be working on essential tasks, such as:
- Building and dismantling stages and seating for world-class shows and exhibitions
- Constructing stands and temporary structures that shape entire events.
- Loading and unloading trucks full of equipment – every show starts with you!
- Rigging and de-rigging equipment – it is all about the setup!
- Heavy lifting to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Sports Flooring laying and dismantling temporary floors

Pay: £13.26 per hour crew / £14.28 forklift drivers
Preferred Experience:
- Event Crewing: 1 year (but don’t worry, we’ll train you!)
- Licence/Certification: In date Forklift Licence preferred, counterbalanced.
Location: In person at Birmingham’s top venues (B1 2AA – Utilita Arena Birmingham and BP Pulse Live)
