We are looking for a fully skilled Panel Beater to join our expanding team. We have recently completed our new workshop with individual work pods giving each tradesman the space they need to complete jobs to a high standard. The workshop is purpose built to ensure a smooth streamlined work process.
Duties:
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle panels to their original condition
- Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle panels
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape, smooth, and finish panels
- Weld and solder damaged panels as needed
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as required for panel repair
- Follow schematics and technical specifications to ensure accurate repairs
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and provide updates on repairs
- Ability to weld and solder damaged panels
- Capable of heavy lifting when necessary
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Skilled in using schematics to guide repairs
- Knowledge of assembling and disassembling vehicle parts
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm, wage is negotiable depending on experience.
