Experienced Part-Time Kitchen Assistant Wanted
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our Tea Room kitchen team.
Please DO NOT apply if you have no kitchen experience. Previous Kitchen Porter experience is welcome, provided you are hardworking and eager to learn.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or as a Kitchen Porter
- Clean, organised and able to maintain high food hygiene standards
- Fast, efficient and able to work well under pressure
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Main Duties:
- Preparing sandwiches, toasties, salads and other light meals
- Basic food preparation and plating
- Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
