An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport / Health & Safety Manager with European Transport experience with the drive to provide high quality customer service and cost-effective service to customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CPC holder maintaining high levels of success for the organization and control of all fleet and compliance measures, alongside ensuring proficient use of transport resources.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers and operatives i.e. review KPI's service, safety and profitability.
- Ensure all training is implemented and completed for drivers and operatives.
- Responsible for interviewing and inducting drivers as and when required, as well as holding investigations and/or disciplinaries.
- Vehicle Management - Ensuring fleet is compliant by scheduling and monitoring all safety checks/inspections, vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Review and analyze driver hours and keep a record of any infringements.
- Maintaining accurate administrative records.
- Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage would be advantageous but will be provided in training for the correct candidate.

- Good PC/Systems skills experience
- Preferable to have HGV Class 1 license (However NOT Essential)
- Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and ISO9001
