Punch Press / Robot Punch Operator (Permanent)
Location: Banbury
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Overtime: 1.3x after 40.5 hours | 1.5x after 44.5 hours
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Punch Press or Robot Punch Operator to join our permanent manufacturing team in Banbury. You will play a vital role in our production line, operating machinery to shape stainless steel components for high-end food trolleys and industrial ventilation systems. Working Hours & Breaks
Enjoy a consistent schedule with a significantly early finish every Friday:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 14:00
- Morning Break: 15 minutes (Fully Paid)
- Lunch Break: 30 minutes (Unpaid)
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate Punch Press or Robotic Punch machinery.
- Material Handling: Work specifically with stainless steel sheets.
- Production: Manufacture precision parts for food trolleys and ventilation units.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy against technical drawings.
- Maintenance: Perform basic machine checks and maintain a safe workspace.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience operating Punch Press machines (Manual or Robotic).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Precision: High attention to detail to ensure minimal wastage and high quality.
