Junior Sous Pastry Chef
Location: Cafe Francois, Borough market
Salary: £19.01 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: 7am-4pm 5 days a week, 45 Hour contract. Paid overtime
We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Pastry Chef to join our pastry team.
Working closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, you will help lead the day-to-day pastry operation, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and organisation.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has professional pastry kitchen experience, ideally at Junior Sous level.
- Has a genuine passion for pastry and a strong eye for detail.
- Demonstrates excellent technical pastry skills and a creative approach.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards

Maison Francois and Cafe Francois are sister restaurants situated in St James and Borough Market.
Our Pastry Kitchen situation in Borough Market is state of the art, which serves both sites. From fresh Pastries, bread and are fantastic desserts all being produced.
We have some exiting plans for our pastry kitchen and we always want to elevate and be the best we can possibly be.
